Bryant L. Brewer currently serves as the Head of Legal for Hardinge Inc. (the “Company”), where Bryant manages the legal function for the Company.In doing so, Bryant serves as the Corporate Secretary and maintains overall responsibility for (a) advising executives and the senior leadership team on the legal and business aspects of various business scenarios, (b) corporate governance, compliance and training, (c) maintaining contracts, (d) supporting M&A and financing activity, (e) assisting the Human Resources function with employee relations matters and (f) managing litigation and those matters handled by outside counsel. Bryant is an accomplished corporate lawyer, with a career spanning more than two decades, Bryant brings to the NERC Board a wealth of legal and business experience gained from his tenure in large complex organizations. Having previously served as inhouse counsel at several companies, including, but not limited to Walmart, Lowe’s, Pep Boys, where he achieved increased responsibility and invaluable experience as a strategic business partner. Bryant holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Southern University and A&M College and a Juris Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis.
