LaShonda Ellis currently is the Business Manager for Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity (PLSE). Born and raised in Philadelphia, LaShonda completed herundergraduate studies in finance from Drexel University and MBA from Saint Joseph’s University. Prior to joining PLSE LaShonda has extensive experience leading Alternative Investments teams at SEI and account management at Alliance Bernstein in New York. Her personal goals consist of expanding opportunities to empower communities. Serving and supporting marginalized populations have always been key drivers for her through volunteerism and philanthropic activities.
